"Actions mode" is a set of tools for performing the following actions on the active layer:
"Bring layer to front" 
moves the layer to the top of all the others.
"Send layer to back" 
moves the layer to the bottom of all others, including the model's image itself.
"Hide layer" 
and "Show layer" 
- hides/shows the layer.
"Delete layer" 
deletes the layer from the work area.
"Select region" 
forms or selects a region of the active layer (see layer
regions window). If a region has been selected for a layer, then all transformations
performed on the layer will only affect the selected region.
"Make “bald” head" 
makes it possible to
remove your model's existing hairstyle (see bald head
window).
"Copy state" 
and "Paste state" 
enables you to copy the status of a layer (i.e. the positions of all sliders) and paste it
to another layer. This is very convenient when dealing with paired layers. You only need
to modify one layer in the pair (colour, opacity, brightness, etc.), copy its status,
select the other layer in the pair, and then paste the status onto it.
"Reset layer" 
returns all the tools and
sliders (brightness, contrast, etc.) back to their initial positions and removes the
colouring of the layer.
"Save layer" 
saves the active layer to the template database (see save layer window).
